Community Rules

Last updated: October 2, 2026

GreensReport works because golfers tell each other the truth about course conditions. These rules exist to keep it that way. They apply to reports, comments, photos, your display name, and messages you send to other golfers.

Report what you saw

Zero tolerance

We do not allow, and we remove without warning:

Reporting and blocking

Every report, photo and message can be reported as inaccurate, offensive, spam, or harassment. You can also block another golfer, which hides their reports, comments and photos from you and stops them messaging you.

We review abuse reports within 24 hours. Content that breaks these rules is removed, and the golfers responsible lose access to GreensReport. Content that several golfers report as abusive is hidden automatically while we review it.

What happens to your account

A first breach usually means the content comes down. Harassment, hate speech and anything illegal mean the account goes, immediately and permanently. We do not operate a strike system for those.

Questions, or something we got wrong

If we removed something of yours and you think we were wrong, email andrew@greensreport.com. A person reads it.
