About GreensReport

GreensReport collects golf course conditions from Arizona golfers, posted right after they play.

What is here

Every course page carries the reports golfers have filed on it: green roll and speed, fairways, tee boxes, bunkers, whether carts are on the path, and whether the course is aerating or overseeding. Those reports feed a playability score, so a course can be judged on how it is playing this week rather than on how its own website described it last season.

Who reports

Anyone who plays. Reports come from golfers with an account, filed on the course they just finished, and every one of them is attributed. Nothing here is written by the courses.

Overseed dates

Arizona courses close for overseed for a few weeks each fall. The dates listed here are the ones the courses publish for the current season, and they are corrected as courses move them. A closure date is a plan, not a promise, so a recent report from someone who was there beats a scheduled date.
